Junior's B-day pressie

We decided to give Junior his present a little bit early, since we won't be here for his actual birthday ;)

Do you think he likes it??

Photobucket

It's called a "Wheely Bug" :D It is on casters (similar to office chairs) and can go in any direction. Baby can ride on it, or push it, crawl on it, pull it, tug it, shove it and love it. They come in two sizes - large and small - we got the size small which is sized for babies aged 1 - 2.5yrs.

A "wheely" good birthday!

Book contest

I‘m joining in a book drawing on Writing Canvas for In Faithfulness, He Afflicted Me by Lynnette Kraft.

I’d like to receive this book for myself because it is so rare to meet other mothers who have lost more than one child. Lynnette has been an encouragement and inspiration to me and I would love to read her book.

Above Rubies?!

Have you all heard about Above Rubies???? It is a Christian ministry started by a wonderful Christian mother - Nancy Campbell - over 31 years ago! :D Above Rubies is designed to teach and support women in their most important role - Motherhood!

Above Rubies

Often times people will host Christian ladies retreats, family camps or seminars and invite Nancy and her husband Colin to come and speak. For the first time ever, Nancy Campbell was hosted at a ladies retreat here in the UK! The Lord was so GOOD and arranged things such that I was able to go :D

I took wee Junior with me and the three older children stayed home with daddy for the weekend while I went and learnt about the importance of Motherhood.

It was such a fabulous retreat and I learnt so much there. One of the main things for me was how to be a *gentle mother*. Sometimes I feel like a "bull in a china shop" in the area of motherhood and Nancy was so encouraging and inspiring as she described how to be a *gentle mother*.

Here is a picture of myself, Junior and Nancy :)

And tonight, Big Mr is off to hear Colin speak! I am excited to hear what their topic is on ;)

Little Miss lost TWO teeth this week!

Junior is trying to stand :D

Summer Office Party

Every year the company Big Mr works for hosts a summer party for all the employees and families.

We all had a great time :D

The White Horse at Uffington

A few weeks ago, while on holiday, we went to see the White Chalk Horse at Uffington. It is really amazing to see. Read here for more information on it, as well as to see an aerial view of the Horse.

Company!

Well we got done with the measles (in the end Little Miss, Little Man & Junior had them) just in time for our company to arrive from Albania. They were on their way home to California from Albania where their daughter was married.

J & P brought with them 6 of their 11 children. The children all had a great time together.

Here are Mr Man, Little Miss & Little Man along with our friend's youngest 3 children; D, G, & B.

Myself and P along with Junior

And here is one of their older children, R, reading a bedtime story to my children.
