Melrose Abbey

We also visited Melrose Abbey whilst in Scotland.

Scottish Borders

After we were done at the zoo we headed up to Scotland for a couple of days. The countryside is beautiful! Isn't the heather gorgeous in bloom? It was a bit windy on the hilltop - sorry for the crackling noise.

Twycross Zoo pt 2

I really enjoyed the elephants!

Twycross Zoo

While Big Mr had a staff meeting near Birmingham, the children and I went to explore the Twycross Zoo.

The gibbons were extremely loud at the zoo - they were definitely the children's favourite exhibit! LOL

Harrow Museum

A few weeks ago we visited Harrow Museum and the children were learning about the Fire of London (1666). The museum was a great place to learn about it, as they have several buildings which date back to that era. Also while we were there Little Man found a very old key! We have no idea where it was from or how old it was - but it was definitely old!!
